  I watched this film once during my last relationship. I never fully understood it, until I re-watched it.

  ‘Naive,’ ‘Foolish,’ ‘Stupid,’ ‘Idiotic.’

  All these thoughts rushed through my mind when thinking back on my own relationships—failed love, resentment, fear, and longing. Wishing I could erase the memories of these people or go back and change things.

  But no.

  Don’t be afraid to love. Joel and Clementine sure weren’t. Even if it feels like the world is falling apart.

  I love this film with all my heart—just as I love others.
