The Brothers Bloom 2008
i think it was a bit too tonally over the place for me in a way that didn't quite work as well as i'd hope. i also thought that the quirky attitude of the film didn't work for me either. all that being said, i think the ending was great, i love a full circle moment with recalls to all the little moments.

Why the f*ck did I waste my time watching this (I hate being a completionist). This is probably one of the most toxic and abusive “romances” I’ve seen. The only “cute” moments would be when the supposed love interest, Kyoya, does the bare minimum which barely even occurs. It was so painful watching the naive and idiotic main character, Erika, fall for this guy who 9 times out of 10 makes her cry. She literally questions why she’s falling for him.…
