Gene Hackman is incredible, there’s so much racism it’s almost unbelievable. Really great movie, hope it’s not true Jesus Christ but was entertained throughout and indeed Mississippi was burning.

American Me 1992
For me this is such a sleeper great movie. The lingo, prison politics and plot in this movie is great. This is the history of La eMe esè and how some Chicanos from LA ran Folsom prison. The Mexican mafia is interesting and Santana and JD have a great relationship. Very real feel to it also with the whole prison butt stuff and his relationships because the acting performance's are great.

L.A. Confidential 1997
Romanticized old school Los Angeles with great action throughout the movie. Maximus decimus meridius is great as a detective and Spacey can’t even act like he’s not into little boys but nonetheless acts his balls off. Really fun movie, long and hard to follow at points because a lot is downplayed but a fun R detective movie with good acting.

This movie was made for Johnny burns, Jamie Lannister totally steps up into the part of money. While the story can get confusing and every scene with lake Bell may cause you to skip over, the prison scenes, lingo and way of life are incredible fascinating and well done in this movie. Probably the best prison scene of any movie.
