I enjoyed myself, but why did they expand this into two movies if they're not planning to add more story? They mostly just stretched out the songs to fill two hours and forty minutes. I wanted all the private classes with Glenda and Elphaba. I at least wanted that damn scene in the poppy field.... where's the scene Jon??

Much better than I expected it to be. It really truly understood its lane as a movie and stayed right in it. Everyone was there to have a good time. David Jonsson is the stand out in this one. I was really taken with his performance, especially after the Act 2 turn. Visually this movie is stunning, but it is one of the worst scripts I've seen in a minute. I hate listening to characters telling each other things they already know so we get a completely unnecessary explanation of fuel for cryo-sleep...
