  Why does this movie exist? Who passed this “idea” in board meetings? It’s like del Toro lost a bet and had to direct the biggest budget movie he could with no coherent plot whatsoever. The acting was a bright spot, as the cast was definitely talented enough; they tried their best to squeeze life out of a completely dead script. I’m straight up angry at this movie; I have been hoodwinked, bamboozled, run amuck, led astray, and flat out deceived…
