  The devil wears a suit and tie. 

  One of Scorsese’s most daring efforts yet. He does an incredible job at unearthing a sector of crime that he hasn’t covered in his filmography to this point, and one that the entire country has still not confronted. The ending itself serves as a painful reminder as to how American history is processed and eventually retold. Blood is ultimately what fertilized the soil of this country. Evil operates in plain sight. It’s depressingly easy to see the wolves in this picture.

  Was definitely one of the only people under the age of 73 in this screening. Was nicely greeted in the line outside by a couple of old women who said they used to love watching Berstein conduct. Thank god for the movies.
