I get a lot of validation from seeing the number of films I’ve watched go up.

Whilst i'm glad they kept the music and i think the new orleans setting would be pretty cool in theory, i find that they completely ignore the tone of the original. the edit is cheesy and over the top at points, and most of the acting is pretty bad, apart from Tony Todds.
I really liked that this was a very different take on the poltergeist film. I loved the use of the music and sound when it showed up, and as an allegory for the experiences of SA victims not being believed. I think it does feel dated at points, especially in scenes using lightening, Im assuming they kept that in because of the original story its based off of, I also think that the final text crawl at the end kind of cheapens the film, which i understand may be a contraversial opinion,
It’s like Ouran but if everyone was on drugs and if the writers were also on drugs and if every man was required to get lip fillers by law.
pretty fucking tense for something you could almost mistake for a still image
