  I’ve been slowly but surely becoming a Bong Joon Ho fan because I love directors and auteurs with strong recurring themes in their work. Classism, an uneasy social and political climate, the relationship between man and nature are all spotlighted very well in this. 

  I will say where it sort of lost was towards the end. It seemed a little anti climactic and predictable. Yes, everyone learned the errors of their ways, now everything is alright now that the bad guys are dead. Idk Regardless I think this is still a film worthy of recognition come awards season next year.
