  Watched the animated storyboard sketch 11min alternate ending afterwards and the ending shot to that was insane. Loved the supposed ‘safe haven’ (where these films usually end once the survivors get there) was actually the most dangerous place and not because it was infected, but portraying man as the monsters. A classic narrative, yet still broke the expected conventions; cinematography and editing were sick

  i wish i could write a long review but these two movies just leave me with an indescribable feeling. i didn’t check my phone once during this movie, which proves how invested i was.  Paul reminded me of Anakin, after the film my dad told me star wars was actually inspired by the original dune books. People who thought the first film was boring should get some context to understand then rewatch both films. I wish there was more on…
