this was so cool
i want to say more but i really don’t think i need to
this was cool and creative and felt new to me that’s all i wanted and that’s all i got
super cool
this started off so great
I can never complain watching a Wes Anderson because it’s all just so scrummy, the colour grading, the framing, the slightly dead pan performances GOD it’s good
so yeah
this one just kinda slotted in with the rest and it was just fun and easy to watch and enjoy
one side story fizzled its way to the surface and became the main point of focus in this for an uncomfortably long amount of time
I…
ahhh this was amazing‼️
i don’t think i blinked throughout the whole thing i was so fixated
the music was SO good!
each shot was just so clean and fresh i loved the look and style of this so much
some of the shot types were so creative and something i’d never seen before which was pretty epic and made the film even more cool
utterly chilling
the sound design was actually incredible, the constant sound of the camp heard in the background throughout the film was so effective. The scenes with no visuals just gritty sounds of horror created this all consuming and hard to breath kinda atmosphere, something Glazer is scarily good at doing.
I was left feeling incredibly uncomfortable like my stomach had been knotted over and over again, a feeling I believe is very appropriate for the focus of this film.
