  I can’t decide what the most painful part of this film was. Was it Carrie’s three personality traits (American, cheated on her fiancé, has slept with 33 people)? Was it his flatmate’s haircut that looked like it fell from the sky onto her head? Was it Hugh Grant mumbling his way into a Golden Globe? The stench of boarding school accents? The rejection of Fiona who was much cooler and better dressed? This is a film for people who subscribe to a romantic version of an England with no immigrants and lots of bubbly. I will NOT be sending an rsvp
