So sad, yet uplifting in the end. I loved this movie so much. Each scene felt like a little independent play, like when they acted out the sounds of a "normal" family for a man trying to die in his bedroom upstairs. Felt like I was watching a Beckett play. Finally Old Dolio goes upstairs and talks him through it. "My kids weren't bad, just busy". The loneliness of everyone I'm this movie is palpable and heart wrenching, which makes the developing love between Old Dolio and Melanie so hopeful and uplifting. I cannot recommend this movie enough.
