Logan Lucky 2017
Oceans 7/11 really hits the nail on the head here in a number of ways. Sure the writing isn’t great, the jokes are take em or leave em, and the acting is meh (bit of a surprise considering how stacked this cast is).
However, Blue-collar America is a major theme throughout this film and is presented in a way that doesn’t make it pretentious, on the contrary in fact. It’s a thin line between appreciating something for what it is and what it could be, a line Soderberg seemed very aware of while making this. Despite its short comings, it’s a really charming film.

The Idea of You 2024
Wattpad really cooked with some lines in here, but after that it’s forgettable at best.
