What a beautiful end to Miyazaki's career...or not! Throughout the whole film you could feel that Miyazaki was trying to come to terms with the fact that his career is coming to an end. Yet, at the end you could tell that there was still something the old master wanted to tell us, so it didn't surprise me at all, that he was working on another film. Beautiful movie that deals with serious themes in a whimsical manner!

Pulse 2001
Insanely slow pace but it makes up for it in sheer atmosphere. I really appreciate how the movie dealt with the themes it portrayed. The fact that this came out in 2001 and it still managed to perfectly showcase how the internet makes us more distant, despite having the means to be connected with as many people as we want is quite shocking.

Dark Water 2002
Very nice atmosphere throughout the whole film. I could relate to the protagonist's struggle and found that her struggle was portrayed very well. The movie can be a bit slow at times with not much happening but it makes up for it with it's gloomy atmosphere. Rather depressing watch but I enjoyed the movie!

Pleasantly surprised that a marvel film can still get some emotion out of me. The cameos were all pretty fun, especially if you like some of the older marvel movies! Pretty fun movie, but that's it.
