Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 2016
After watching the first six Star Wars movies and loving them, my expectations were high, but this film surpassed them. Seeing familiar characters was great, and the CGI was impressive. I loved it. It seemed like it was going to be a bit of a slow burn, but I didn’t feel that way, probably because I was so intrigued by the story. I really liked how the film subverts expectations, repeatedly making you think she is going to disappear. Seeing the truck again definitely added to the tension and mystery, what a red herring! And that ending, wow…
It reminded me of both Incendies and Prisoners, which I really like.…
