I must say, I do consider myself to be a romantic. I've always had a special place for that type of content, and this movie is just the right thing for me.
Humphrey Bogart is a great actor and plays his role flawlessly. All characters in the movie have so much personality and the dialogue is fantastic! I really like the relationship between Rick and Captain Renault. Especially in the end, haha.

A pretty enjoyable movie to watch! It was pleasant and a movie I definitely will watch again sometime in the future.
It's such a bitter-sweet movie to watch. One one hand, you've got a man who had such great talent and potential to become one of the foremost concert pianists in the world, but due to a mental breakdown got insane and lost his chances to attain greatness. But you've also got the redemption of David finding happiness with a woman he loves.
Still, it makes me feel saddened to think of how great he could've become. Such a great movie.
