Definitely a good movie to just watch if you're looking for violent retro-style horror. Although it's a sequel to House of 1000 Corpses, it's honestly not as strong. It isn't really filmed like the first one, which is fine, but that's what almost makes it ineffective. The first movie had cool creature and villain designs while also having visually bright aesthetics mixed with loud obnoxious sounds. This installment is still cool in terms of it's action and kill aspects, but it almost falls flat on itself compared to House of 1000 Corpses.

Hands-down one of the most amazing 80's style horror movies of modern day. Terrifier 2 did something that the first movie didn't do, which was adding depth and whimsy. The first Terrifier movie still had some charm to the protagonists that made you feel somewhat sad and shocked about their fate, but this specific installment truly humanizes the main characters in a way that makes you root them on. Not to mention, there's a bit of a magical element to…
