Beautiful, beautiful movie.
it looks good — disappointingly, this is all i can bring myself to write at the moment. despite its scale, surprisingly little happens in this movie’s beefy run time. a cinematic experience as vast and barren as the landscapes it inhabits. i seem to be in the minority when i say that i did not enjoy this film. the whole ordeal feels like a practice in grandiose aerial shots and shoddy, self-serious adaptation-style screenwriting. the action too, falls flat, and…
