this felt less like a thriller than a drama, and i wish it had me more on edge and stressed than it did. because the two main actresses are really great, i think it sort of made up for the issues, but there were definitely a lot of loose ends in the end (how exactly did granny jean die, the history of alice's mental illness, actual evolution of celine's descent into madness...)
