Pygmalion 1938
Having watched this film after being in a production of "My Fair Lady", a musical based on the film which is based on a play, I felt that each iteration conveys the story in the same way. The story is a wonderful feminist piece from 1938, and it seemingly holds up in its messages fairly well.

This is an incredible story with beautiful dancing and music! The show contains such a fun and cheery energy that makes it a good watch no matter how many times you've seen it. The cast is full of some of the most amazing actors from the period, and they prove their skills within.
