Have been putting off this movie for years and after I finally watched it, putting it off is a valid reason after all. Eerie, unsettling, has no point, just a reimagined recollection of what happened on that fateful day. It’s very much scary of how that day started off as normal for most of the victims. It’s especially unsettling following the characters around, sounds fading off and popping on from time to time. And just how quick shots and bullets are fired. It literally just snapped like that.
I’m pretty sure this is my most favorite Ika Natassa movie to date, because it’s directed by Teddy Soeriaatmadja. The rest of Ika Natassa’s movies have this distinct made-for-TV aura about them that will get you yawning about 10 minutes into the movie, except for this one, which is nice.
