  Just realised I forgot to log this one before going on a small girls trip for the weekend.

  Don't really have much to say about this one. A wonderful, quick watch with some spectacular and surprising kills around every corner, making the film a literal Bay of blood.

  Every character had a layer of mystery around them that made it gripping to watch and figure out who the murderer was. Arguably weaker than Blood and Black Lace, but probably my favourite from Bava, even though I like all I've seen from him so far.

  Not much to say about this one that hasn't already been said. The dark atmosphere it projects onto the grim world of prostitution and sex work contrasted well with it's more poetic subtitles, something Sion Sono excels really well with.

  Along with the Suicide Club/Noriko duology, Guilty of Romance shows the peak of Sono's dark atmosphere, using strong suspense and tension to show its horror in a way that is really compellin and emotional.
