  Nightcrawler is incredibly potent, Jake Gyllenaal conveys a disturbingly unhinged character that the rest of the film mirrors and plays off of nearly perfectly. Every character,  shot, and minute of score deeply and alarmingly uncomforting. The film was anxiety inducing for every minute of its runtime. I did feel however that the pacing left a little to be desired, it felt unintentionally disjointed at times, which didn’t necessarily line up with the cold calculating psychopathy of its lead character. Overall Nightcrawler is a great film that I would seriously recommend watching, but make sure you’re ready for a dark and depressing ride.

  I’m terms of allegorical film-making, I feel  few films are able to convey as potent a delivery as The Green Knight. To present the source material visually is already a difficult task and yet Lowery is able to do so while simultaneously oozing style. The film is visually striking in every aspect yet you’re still engrossed in the story first and foremost. It was an artistic journey through and through. /s

  Kinda reminded me of the Lego Movie.

Following
