I like the morally grey personality of mother but I don't understand the ending. How mother could be so sure that she achieved her goal by leaving the rest of the embryos to the daughter. It is not possible for every embryo to be perfect hence mother will want to eliminate the imperfections.
She can still interfere, come inside by using force and kill the ones she doesn't see fit, but it will traumatise the daughter and she will not be able to raise the other kids to the best so I don't understand the great scheme of mother...Translated from by
