Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai 1999
i cried, laughed, and definitely felt. i always love being shown movies i probably wouldn’t haven’t watched on my own, they’re the ones that impact me the most and this fits that category. simply so good from the theme of the samurai, characters, where it takes place and especially the soundtrack. had a lot of fun with this one!

lilac wine playing at the end gut punched me when i was already bawling my eyes out, my song forever
this was such a good slow burn and done in all the right ways. many people just have that one person that sticks with them no matter what life throws at either of them along the way. even when they go years without talking, things never truly change once they’re back together. life just works like that sometimes.

this movie had me more stressed out than i anticipated! even without dialogue it was so perfectly captured and it’s crazy how animals can show emotions through their faces and of course their bodies
but overall this movie was very well animated and the story is going to have me deep diving for a little bit because i needa figure some things out. and i looooved the lil group that was formed by the end, can’t believe i have the same vibes as the capybara and lemur even though they were polar opposites
