    honestly, what a fucking blast! bong joon ho really goes all out with this one—it's such a crazy, visually gorgeous sci-fi ride with awesome worldbuilding. and the mix of deep ideas with sharp satire is just great and also hilarious. robert pattinson totally nails his double role (this man can literally do it all) but also naomie ackie, steven yeun and especially mark ruffalo and toni collette are just wild and fun in their over-the-top performances.
