First viewing while loopy from a cold and mellowed out with a gummy for context, my spoiler-free thoughts:
This was by far the most immersive theater experience I’ve had. Outside of slightly being pulled out from that jarring CGI lab scene as well as that one cheesy throwback quote, I was floating through this nightmarish landscape that I didn’t want to wake up from. The sound design, score, visuals, and set pieces were enough to make this a pleasurable viewing…
