  Important to get the update on this story - especially as someone who wasn’t following it too closely since the original film aired - but it felt like it was spread a little thin and could’ve done with running in a 30-45 minute time slot instead of a 65 minute one.

  Very hard to describe. I think this film requires you to have been very online in very particular places from about 2016-23 to really work, and luckily I was. A beautiful and hilarious aesthetic amalgam of fan film, YouTuber movies, video essays and online shitposting, all coming together into something wholly unique and of itself.

  Two separate Dispepsi needle drops can never go wrong for me either.

  I genuinely and misguidedly believed this movie would have a heart when portraying the struggles of a morbidly obese man - what I got instead was a strange mix of family melodrama and "look at this big fat guy's big fat disgusting life", with a musical score that just pounds "FEEL SAD. FEEL SUSPENSEFUL." into your skull like a sledgehammer.

  Enjoyed this a lot. My favourite part was about halfway when it turned into a short documentary on James K Polk.
