It was a good movie, but the book is truly much better. Also I didn't like the fact that Silvio is older, I feel like It's not as impactful. If a mother makes her 20 year old son go to work I see nothing wrong with that, whereas in the book he's 14 which is why it's so depressing and grave.

I honestly don't know why I watched this until the end. By far the worst movie I have ever seen. I don't usually write reviews but this was so bad I had to write one. I don't know which man's fever dream this is or who made him think this is something people would ever want to see but I am extremely sorry for anyone who was unfortunate enough to watch it. Everything about this movie was awful, it has no redeeming qualities. If you're thinking of watching this, please for the love of god don't.
