I got what I wanted out of this movie. I wanted to see televangelists experiencing the same throes of adult life- addiction, marriage and adultery, as well as heaping financial problems.
The stars are just as happy/miserable as everyone else is.

Without enough detail, this guy tells a lady to smash in someone else’s head with a brick.
I guess he needed to talk to the crazy lady to accept his guilt?
“We have to keep moving”
No matter how many times I watch this movie, the jump scares still legitimately get me.
I fucking love this movie.
I know, you’re concerned about my well-being, but this movie makes very little sense on purpose. It’s a beautiful arc of a father-son relationship, as well as a fucked up serial killer storyline, with a one-of-a-kind soundtrack. Still one of my favorite movies.
