4. nothing too complicated. Its intensity lies in the themes desire, lust and jealousy. which in itself are emotions that are if not the most intense ever!
this is a feat in how stunning cinema can be. i was completely enchanted by the first half, also thanks to the fact i was able to experience it in 35mm.
and then i guess the second act happened and the bizareness of some narrative choices just got me off their wavelength by an amount more than i would’ve liked. really sad cos that first half, wow.
