this felt like ten other horror movies released in the last decade, but overall this was okay. a weak ending for a movie that spent an hour and a half building to a climax that is unseen—most of the final moments the audience anticipates witnessing are, quite literally, hidden from the audience from behind a door.

this movie is a great example of how some people really don't need love or relationships but much rather need a damn therapist. if the first movie didn't showcase how toxic these two are for each other, this one lays it on THICK, mama.
that being said, kathryn bernardo is incredible in this. genuinely took on some emotional material and was a masterclass in how to have range babyyyy.
