Ditched work because I wanted to turn my brain off, think about nothing and watch some mindless running and shooting (idk why this film gave off that vibes) but got none of it, but got to watch something else. Guess it was fun, in some way.

Just thinking about it, I’ve developed a distaste for this kind of expositional dialogue.

Would’ve been so fucking funny if Colin Farrell shot the teenage daughter right in the head, when she went on the monologue on why she should be the one lmao.

This is madness and an absolutely amazing premise done in such a Yorgos Lanthimos way. This is a sick man. Love it. Definitely my favourite film with someone biting themselves off.

The dolly move in/out shots got a bit boring and noticeable after a while.

Finally!!! I have been salivating over this movie for months. I knew it was on streaming services and I resisted the urge because I wanted to watch it on the big screen.

I knew I would love this. This was made for me. Besides the obviously incredible Kieran Culkin, and the Chopin in the background, and the little adorable moments, the people watching at the airports, the “fav cousin” parts, something more just clicks for me.

    There’s a small scene…
