Oppenheimer 2023
My favorite movies are those that make you think and remember it long after you watch it. Oppenheimer is a three hour epic accented by standout individual performances and thunderous movie score. It leaves you horrified at the path of destruction the world set out on after the atomic project and makes you question humanities motivations for scientific innovation. The movie is a psychological exploration of Dr. Oppenheimer as well as a commentary on American society. Would recommend seeing it in IMAX!

Dune: Part Two 2024
While the film at times felt a bit too long, it made up for it with stunning cinematography and a sweeping plot. The depictions of Dune technology, culture and politics were vast and creative, creating an immersive depiction of the Freemen. Dune 2 is filled with great acting and leaves you wanting to see more.
