there is a lot of interesting stuff in here, it is beautifully made and highly entertaining but my god, this is one of the most weirdly paced films i have ever seen, to the point where it is completely unclear over what period of time this takes place at ALL.
might have to go for the directors cut if i ever rewatch it!

Incredible Film. Unbelievably intense, dark and morally conflicting and maybe one of the best Nicholas Cage performances I have seen yet. An element which I also loved are the many different characters we get to briefly meet and take a glimpse into their lives. The Camerawork is also to be noted, with it being hectic or calm in the perfect moments.
