  Talented pervert cartoonist struck a chord with the countercultural zeitgeist of the time and will be remembered forever as a result.

  The purity of Robert Crumb’s filth art is/was jarring and refreshing. A reflection of American postwar society presented via a hormonal, stunted product of that society; a mirror forged out of shit and cum. 

  I think it’s notable that despite (or maybe as a result of) how deeply broken his childhood and siblings were, they are all artists in their own right and that pattern has continued with his own children. 

  Winters is cute, they shouldn’t have moved to France.

  The acting felt wooden, all the characters were psychotic, none of the plot made much sense to me, and I didn’t think it was really funny? Maybe I’m missing something.
