  A strange one for sure. The moments of magic realism and camera work are almost brilliant but also almost cheesy. It’s a big swing that works for me. Also imagine a movie like this getting made today where a man believes he is Jesus Christ then believes he is Jack the Ripper. Even though the movie is 52 years old it’s still a fun provocative film that goes places we wouldn’t dare today.
