    oh yes the teenage girl urge to self yassify self harm and self destruct while killing all the innocence left in you all at once in a matter of months !!!!!!!

    if you like scarface and the place beyond the pines —this is like somewhere in there with them. mostly the themes and the tone, but here the exploration of youth contrasting the heavy backdrop of the film is a standout. 

    i’m fascinated by how fragile innocent optimism is when life is so very bleak, and people so cruel. how part of being young is finding danger and adventure alluring
