The film was decently entertaining but the plot just got more and more ridiculous throughout the film. There were so many plot twists that made absolutely no sense at all and enormous plot holes were everywhere.

It’s been a long time since I’ve loved a film this much on the first watch. I had high expectations about this film and those expectations were topped.

These types of films that make you think about your own life and your past experiences are the films that made me love cinema in the first place. Watching this film i realized that I have to start watching more films again.

The plot was absolutely lovely and every single acting performance felt so real. The dynamics between the characters were brilliant and I loved the dialogues. Also I really liked the ending as well.

Sound of metal portrays surviving of a crisis very well. Riz Ahmed is phenomenal and I loved his character. The character development is amazing and I really liked the conclusion. Watching this film also made me very grateful of my hearing because honestly I don’t know how I would manage without it. I’m not really sure if I should give this 4,5 or 5 stars. Overall I loved this film.

I’ve never seen anything like this…
I absolutely loved the main character and the way he was kind of simple so the reasons of his actions and feelings were very clear to the audience. Colin Farell acted an Oscar worthy performance. Also Brendan Gleeson’s character was amazing and brutally honest. The gorgeous shots made me want to book a trip to Ireland immediatly and the dark music made me really connect with the film. The conclusion of the film is brilliant and it really made me just stare at the wall and think about what just had happened and why.
