  quite honestly one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time — stories about immigrants and the american dream and straddling two cultural identities always make me tear up so much and this was no exception

  also the part where the husband said “you dream in a language I don’t understand, which means there’s a world that you live in that I’ll never be able to see” fucking WRECKED me. brilliant brilliant writing.
