  How did anyone genuinely enjoy this movie (other than the cinema bros who just enjoyed Nicole Kidman getting naked)? The characterisation was poor, the story cliché, and the soundtrack overdone. Oh, and of course, the female poc character is dismissed, all for a white woman’s sexual fantasies (remember, she’s not normal, she’s not like other women!!) and some douchey 20 something white man as the prize. On top of this- Romy never even reclaims any power!!! What kind of post-feminist, girlboss bullshit is this?? I’m tired

  SFF#6: The dialogue in this film is so fun and showcases dry British humour at its best—especially between Georgie and Ali. Really enjoyed the super creative and stylised execution as well! Definitely could have been more room for character development and the plot was kind of predictable; but had a fun time nonetheless
