A tragic love story with an eerie, immersive atmosphere. The visuals and sound were incredible, and I’d definitely watch it again. Good theater movie.
Lily-Rose Depp, Alexander Skarsgård, and Nicholas Hoult gave standout performances. Willem Dafoe and Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s felt less impressive, but the rest of the cast was just that good. A well-crafted film overall.

Orlock’s deranged assistant was hilariously scary and my favorite side character performance. I loudly laughed in the theater when he ran out of the prison, completely naked, chuckling with delight at his master’s plan.
Felt predictable in the end, but the mystery was engaging throughout. The theme of the movie held constant, and the characters each had their moment to shine.

I enjoyed this film! Less action than the first but was still packed with it. The acting, script, and cinematography were all excellent. Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth delivered A+ performances, with Hemsworth giving his most impressive performance to date. The rest of the cast was equally strong. Biggest issue was the pacing, which caused the movie to drag at times. I liked how the themes of trauma and PTSD, and how they shape our desires and goals,…
