Take a drink whenever the overall music transitions into someone listening to headphones. Also thanks Sony for reminding us that walkmans are still on the market and Ginger Spice should maybe do another Spice Girls tour - she’s more in her element that way.
Some parts were a bit extra, which made it super cringe to watch. The love interest could easily be written out of the story and the dad crying was way over the top and I felt zero emotion during that scene lol.
I hate how it all leads to Pharrell making ‘Happy’. I do not need to hear that song ever again.
My guilty pleasure series comes back in true form filled with over the top action, random cameos and unexplainable physics (that bomb ball kept rolling. That or Italy is now a long slippery slide).
John Cena, why have you suddenly changed characters? I guess there were way too many alpha male characters so they had to soften up Cena into a more comedic ditsy role. 🤷🏻♂️
I’m just glad this was better than Fast 9. Fast Five is still the favourite though.
As someone who’s played the games, this was really bad. Why did they cast old people to play characters that were predominantly young in the games? Like wtf they butchered Moxxi 😭.
The action scenes were a bit mid. It was a wasted opportunity to showcase so many different guns just like the game. Instead we got given these known actors cosplaying as video game characters (whom they’ve probably never heard of before) and then trying to make-do a random storyline that intertwines these characters.
It’s literally a budget Guardians of the Galaxy.
