  I somewhat shamefully admit it took me a little while to get through this as the first hour or so is pretty slow, however the slow, calm beginning perfectly leads into the manic final 20 minutes or so. Not a single line of badly acted dialogue was uttered also, likely the best acting I have ever seen in a film frankly, and the directing is just the cherry on top.

  Cheeky little short one, by no means Wes Anderson’s best work in my opinion. Been watching through a few of his short films lately and am really enjoying them thus far.

  Plug a lil freaky but he chill.

  On a real note, I almost feel like a pretentious prick rating this 4 stars but whatever, Thom Yorke is my goat and I don’t apologise for that.

  This was interesting to say the least, I started out frankly hating it but from the ‘wall sequence’ onwards I was in awe at the beauty of it all, just so interesting. And I’m a bias bastard too so that means plays a role in my rating.

  I enjoyed this so much more than I had expected to, this film boasts an incredible soundtrack and excellent acting.

  Many are quick to call Summer a bitch or Tom something not far from that but to me it’s more a story of incompatibility, Tom fell for Summer and she simply didn’t feel the same, end of. Could Summer have done things differently to hurt Tom less? Absolutely, but hey, no one’s perfect.

  Finally, I wanted to reflect on the ‘expectations vs reality’ scene, truly impeccable, chefs kiss. I may be lying to say I didn’t shed a small tear.
