Beautifully made for 3D, and solid narration from J-Law.
Definitely a treat with those Earth shots, but suffered when it became overtly preachy with the global warming angle.

Longing for the days when movies would be well lit, even during the night scenes - I had all the curtains closed and still struggled to see 40% of this movie.
Occasionally felt like a slog to get through, but the overall themes are nice and the ending will stick with you. Cliché but that isn’t always a bad thing
“life finds a way…”
another spielberg classic, in the same vein of ET in bringing out the inner child - I won’t even lie, I shed tears whenever I watch the scene where Grant/Sattler see the dinosaurs for the first time
so many things are done well here - the “can we VS should we” debate, the pitfalls of capitalism, the personal character growths such as Grant v Children etc…
and as always, john williams delivers brilliantly with the score. the CGI is also decent considering the time it came out. overall - a near perfect adventure flick
”that’s what the present is… it’s a little unsatisfying because life is unsatisfying”
Still my favourite movie of all time. I have never related to a character as much as Gil Pender, and I’ve never seen a director do a better job at immersing the audience in a setting.
Everything from the music, the visuals, the set design, the costumes…all 10/10. The casting was perfect, and the writing (as always from Woody Allen) was beautiful.
And finally, the film’s ending…
