I recently watched the original adaptation of Salem’s Lot, one of King’s earliest and finest novels. I liked it a lot overall. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for this new adaptation. However, this shouldn’t be surprising because there are far more bad King adaptations than good ones.

I’m gonna get crap for this review. According to Rotten Tomatoes, neither the critics nor the audience enjoyed this one. However, I think we all can agree that you can disagree with Rotten Tomatoes. And I’d bet my life savings that 99% of those folks never read the novella.
