  Dune: Part Two 2024

  I’ll be honest I and many others will need time to sit on this because there is just so much that’s going on in this vast universe. But initial thoughts are that that was fcking spectacular and just an all round cinematic EPIC. I do definitely prefer it to part one as this time Denis truly dives deep into the lore of ‘Dune’ and we get to see all the characters that we were really only introduced to, to flourish.…

  This is essentially my first time watching this properly as I’m pretty sure I didn’t finish it the first time round so all I could remember was the premise regarding the A.I. This certainly is what one would call ‘a modern masterpiece’ , it is so meticulously crafted with every shot and the score as well was so intimate it felt like, the dialogue so calm and relaxed yet at the same time so meaningful.

  After watching a short explanation this film is not as complex as it first shows (which I know is kinda the idea with these sorts of films). But either way I think this one is just an absurd idea put to screen in an absurd way by Lynch, and certainly not in a bad way. 

  I think this was maybe a dive into the deep end regarding Lynch’s filmography, however I’m definitely intrigued to see more.
