One of my all time favorite comfort movies. From the warm feeling of summer and friendship that passes over you at the opening song, to the reassuring feeling of knowing you're not alone that leaves with out at the outro song. This movie has a special place in my heart as an art piece defining much of the attitudes in my formative years. Learning to decipher the confusing world of high school in a seemingly inescapable small town bubble, it's good to be reminded you're never alone.
