I love how Bong-Joon Ho went a bit goofy after Parasite. Is it as good at that? No but I respect him doing something for fun while still keeping his usual charm and themes. Mickey 17 scratches that original scifi itch we don't get enough of.

I unapologetically love Tom Cruise. He's a true filmmaker who does everything in his power to entertain his audience in the most satisfying way. He continously teams up with directors that utilize his skills to the maximum. Top Gun Maverick tops the original in every way. It's got heart, amazing visuals, great performances, and just enough 80s cheese to remind us of the original.
