The way Vikramaditya Motwane has layered that simplicity within the backdrop of zamindars and thieves in a changing Indian landscape of 1950s (this guy knows how to put us in a time and a place very well, subtlety is where he shines) is nothing less than exceptional.

    I didn’t really know what to expect around this film, I had no idea who Robbie Williams was before this film but now I am very much inclined to know more about him and his music. I really enjoyed the hell out this film and I never knew that making the central character a goddamn monkey would blend in so well.
